Hort Enterprises was established in 1995 and today is based in the Central West of NSW with its head office and workshops in Orange and an office in West Wyalong.

From these locations, we service not only NSW but also all other states within Australia.

Hort Enterprises was the first diverse engineering company, this side of the Blue Mountains, to obtain its quality and WHS certification, which we have had in place since 2003

Today we are seen as a one-stop-shop, providing our clients the option to only need to engage the one supplier – whether it is a $500 job or a $10 million job that has to be designed, drafted, manufactured, installed and commissioned.

Amongst our services, we have developed a number of areas of specialisation. These include, but are not limited, to carbon pipe manufacture (low and high pressure), wear resistant linings in rubber and/or ceramics for dry and wet applications, NDT (Non Destructive Testing), welding certifications and our hands on design drafting team which utilise the latest in surveying and 3D Scanning technology thus saving access costs for our clients in expensive scaffolding and or EWP/ Scissor lift hire.

Our Project Services Team provides a professional approach to shut outages by working in with our customers during the scoping, pre work, execution and commissioning of the areas under our control. This is achieved with our structured approach with shut outage management, supervision, leading hands, trades personnel, riggers, crane drivers and sentries.

Our communication systems allow us to talk to our customers in a virtual face-to-face setting, saving time and money for our customers through travel costs, accommodation costs and most importantly down time.

Our open door policy provides easy access for our customers to drop in and inspect how their job is progressing or to discuss face-to-face future works. With our now developed tracking system, we can keep you updated on a daily or weekly basis as to your jobs status. This provides our customers, that are remote or are time limited, with accurate data to be able to plan to.

Our customers that have a requirement to maintain a repair and inspection log for their equipment take advantage of our online sharepoint system that catalogues and systematically reports on each piece of equipment with any current and historical repairs. This information is backed up and secure so only authorised customers can access it. Also included in this system is an automatic reminder that notifies our customers and us, well in advance, that an item of equipment is nearing its inspection date. This reminder assists both parties in ensuring and planning a smooth transition and transportation of equipment from sites to our workshops where the works are scheduled into our workflow so as to minimise the time the equipment is off-site. All of this provides our customers peace of mind that their equipment is in good working order and all legal requirements are current.
